Auction VIN Report exists because the most important facts about a car are tied to its VIN, and too many buyers never check them.
We are an independent, education-first resource. We are not affiliated with Copart, IAA, any data provider, or any manufacturer. That independence lets us explain what a VIN really tells you without selling you a false sense of certainty. When a record can be incomplete, we say so plainly, because a buyer who over-trusts a clean report is taking a risk they cannot see.
The site grew out of a simple observation: most expensive auction mistakes are VIN-level mistakes.
